About us

Creed Outdoor Learning was set up in 2011 by Paul Oxberry to develop and deliver outdoor educational and adventurous activities in the East Kent area. In 2012 we were part of a consortium that successfully bid for and won a three year contract from Kent County Council to provide youth activities in Faversham. We then became part of the new Swale youth consortium that will be delivering youth activities for the next five years in Swale. However, feeling that we were not getting recognised for the work we were doing we left Swale Youth and are now a stand alone youth activity provider, funded by income generated by Creed Outdoor Learning’s activities at Teynham meaning we are working FOR young people, as well as WITH young people, running regular weekly Youth Clubs in Faversham on Thursday evenings for young people of secondary school age.

At our outdoor activity site in Millennium Woods, Teynham, we run school and youth group activities as well as school holiday clubs and family activities. We try to keep out prices affordable to all and seek funding grants to subsidise some activities, we have received funding from local Swale Borough councillors, Kent County Council’s “Reconnect” project, Swale Youth, Local Rotary and we are one of the good causes that benefit from Faversham and District Community Lottery, where you can buy tickets that directly help to fund us.
