Busy weekend, followed by a busy week

Friday Creed Outdoor Learning hosted an activity day at Bexon Lane Scout Camp (near Sittingbourne) for 30 young people from Chatham House and Clarendon Grammar schools (Thanet). They had a great day taking part in some team building tasks, archery and climbing wall, a great bunch of motivated young people.

Saturday we had the Climbing wall at West Faversham Community Centre for their summer fete which was well attended and we were glad to help out at a local event.

Saturday and Sunday we had a presence at Barton Point, on the Isle of Sheppey at their summer solstice festival, Saturday we were supposed to be running archery taster sessions but the wind had something to say about that, However the wind died down a bit on Sunday and we took the climbing wall over, we had a steady stream of customers all having a go at climbing.

This coming week we will be at Whitstable Primary School (year 6’s) and at Bexon Lane Scout Camp for an overnight camping residential with Southborough Primary School (year 4’s) and then on Saturday at Aylesford Village School fete.
