Today Creed was at Whitfield and Aspen School, near Dover training nearly 100 staff on using the new bouldering wall that the school built themselves. Some staff were a little reluctant at first thinking that it was all about climbing but after an hour and a quarter session looking at various warm up activities, safety aspects, games to play with groups and progressive working, staff felt confident that they could run a session with pupils.
During the session group members went from I don’t think I can do it, which wasn’t a problem as Creed promote challenge through choice. By the end of each session staff couldn’t believe how much the wall could be used, in various subjects.
IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT THE CLIMBING
